My favorite vegan sandals

Today is the first day of Spring and the sun said hello to my new birkis ☀️

Did you know that Birkenstock has been making a vegan collection since October 2019 with all the standard models and colors?

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for as long as I remember wearing sandals and I’ve had my last ones (also the model “Madrid”)  for the last four years. They were not completely vegan, since the inlay was covered with velours leather. When I bought them over a US-show shop site, they were described as vegan and by the time I noticed a couple of months later that they were not vegan, it was too late to return them. Last summer I said goodbye to them with gratitude (Marie Kondo style) and with the weather getting warmer, I ordered a new pair. 

Yesterday, my new, 100% vegan Madrid model in the faded khaki color* arrived  and I couldn’t be happier! 

FYI: all models exist in either narrow or wide. I typically choose narrow and they fit my feet perfectly, just as comfy as my previous pair. 

I’m ready for summer!
